Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is providing opportunities for artisans and craftsmen representing all mediums to market and sell their products to the public. We produce a series of events that are family friendly, fun, and fruitful for artisans and visitors. Event growth is fueled by deploying a creative and innovative approach to audience promotion and artisan recruitment efforts. Expanded use of social media, educational demonstrations for visitors, entertainment, activities, and the creative organization of exhibiting artists in the exposition hall, will infuse the typical craft fair environment with new energy appealing to individuals of all ages.
About The Art and Craft Festivals
The Capital Art and Craft Festival features works of art and fine crafts presented by more than 300 juried artists. These events are held three times a year at the Dulles Expo Center, each year during spring, fall and winter.
Artists will offer a wide variety of handmade art in mediums including clothing/textiles/fiber, food and beverage, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting and prints, photography, pottery/clay, printmaking, and wood.
Festivals are open to the public. Parking is free and plentiful. Tickets are available for purchase beginning a month before the event. Discounts are available for senior citizens and children under the age of 12 are admitted at no charge.
